  Problem: The  Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus  device shows two errors during update: COE1-FC32 (synchronization failed) and error 20_58 (firmware update failed). Updates do not download, CE firmware is empty, and the server connection fails. I need the device checked and these update errors resolved. Solution: If had error 20-58, your device need a factory repair.

Load eeprom saved in step 1. Key tool plus will decode pin code. Choose a key position and write key. Xhorse key tool plus read it very well and gave the key code. It was very nice.

  Tested the new   Xhorse Gen2 Audi BCM2 adapter   today on an encrypted 2014 Audi A4 (BCM2 8K0 907 064 JM). Worked flawlessly. It was easy to place on pins, stable communication and completed full read of d flash and p flash with  VVDI Key Tool Plus  using the Gen2 adapter. No need to write back service file. No need to remove additional components or use jump wires. Highly recommend it for anyone doing Audi BCM2 jobs.

  Porsche Panamera BCM module reading — to add 2 keys with Xhorse vvdi key tool plus. Simply use the  vvdi key tool plus  and the solder-free adapter  XDNP17  to complete the process with ease. Don’t need to cut PCB if you use Porsche BCM adapter.

Better to order new capacitors (0.1uF, 0603 package capacitor) in case they get lost or damaged. Had to put them back if it is a Cayenne. Did a Lamborghini Urus prior and broke the shell but had replacement aftermarket. At the time I would of rather broke the shell than risked damaging the chip. Had a new replacement Porsche shell on standby but I managed to cut away super clean and reuse original shell. After you generate the dealer key you have to learn 2 keys next as it wont let you learn the newly added key alone. Learning sensor is on cupholder closest to driver for reference.”

  Problem: Tried to add key 2014 Audi A4 BCM2 using  Xhorse vvdi key tool plus  and  new Audi BCM2 solderless adapter . I read the BCM Lock 1 & 2 data, and I have the IMMO data. While writing back the data, a connection failed, and now, of course, the car won’t start. How can I write the data back? Solution: You must write back service file. If you have data1 and data2, calculate service file and write it back. Car will start again. Here is the option to write service file.

  Problem: Tried to read 2015 Audi q5 BCM2 with the new style  Audi BCM2 adapter v2  and  vvdi key tool plus . The device ask me for 12v power supply. But the new adapter does not have orange bcm2 adapter, thats where you plug the 12v. Error: 12V unconnect ot adapter connect line error. use DB15 cable. Solution: You don’t need any other adapters, only this cable to adapter and tool. Voltage comes from tool to adapter. If need, you can put charger cable normally to keytool plus. Those new version adapters works only with keytool plus and  multiprog . This one don’t a 12v power it just plug and read. This is a version 2. Because new Audi BCM2 adapter does not need nothing between tool and bcm2 adapter. You need only this cable between adapter and tool. Update your tool and use the correct menu option . There is an option that says ‘Adapter new generation’.
