Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad

Problem: One of the   Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus   users is having a problem unlocking the KVM module (MCU chip: MC9S12XEG38 1M1S2) from a 15 plate Land rover Evoque. Connections seems good because its attempting to read, but cant unlock it. Same on Autel… there is a “ forced unlock “ option but it can cause data loss. Solution: This is an OBD job. Don’t even need to take RFA out. Obd job just make key press unlock as Key Tool Plus prompt. No need to take KVM out. If conditions are not met, disconnect battery for 5 min, then connect again. Better to use OEM key.
