Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad

  Tested the new   Xhorse Gen2 Audi BCM2 adapter   today on an encrypted 2014 Audi A4 (BCM2 8K0 907 064 JM). Worked flawlessly. It was easy to place on pins, stable communication and completed full read of d flash and p flash with  VVDI Key Tool Plus  using the Gen2 adapter. No need to write back service file. No need to remove additional components or use jump wires. Highly recommend it for anyone doing Audi BCM2 jobs.

  Problem: Tried to read 2015 Audi q5 BCM2 with the new style  Audi BCM2 adapter v2  and  vvdi key tool plus . The device ask me for 12v power supply. But the new adapter does not have orange bcm2 adapter, thats where you plug the 12v. Error: 12V unconnect ot adapter connect line error. use DB15 cable. Solution: You don’t need any other adapters, only this cable to adapter and tool. Voltage comes from tool to adapter. If need, you can put charger cable normally to keytool plus. Those new version adapters works only with keytool plus and  multiprog . This one don’t a 12v power it just plug and read. This is a version 2. Because new Audi BCM2 adapter does not need nothing between tool and bcm2 adapter. You need only this cable between adapter and tool. Update your tool and use the correct menu option . There is an option that says ‘Adapter new generation’.

  User feedback today: added a spare smart key to Audi A6 2016 BCM2 with   xhorse vvdi key tool plus   and new   Audi BCM2 adapter V2   kit successfully. BCM: BCM2 encrypted.   Problem: Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus  failed to read Audi A4 2015 BCM2 information and cannot connect to read IMMO data via OBD. Any clue? Solution: 2015 is different, cluster, BCM and other modules are secured more. 2015 is secured BCM, need obtain data over  Xhorse BCM2 Adapter . Encrypted immo data. Read Bcm2 immo data on the bench To read immo data you need to remove BCM on the right side of trunk and read with a BCM2 solder free adapter or by weld method.

  Problem: I got the  Xhorse Audi BCM2 adapter  connected with the  vvdi key tool plus . But failed to read Immo data, keytool plus says 12V unconnnect or adapter connect line error. Any solution?   Problem: I was working on an audi A5 all keys lost. I tried to read bcm2 with my  vvdi key tool plus  and soldering free adapter but key tool plus keeps telling me that failed to connect with the adapter. I correctly connected the adapter with DB15 cable. Don’t know why KTP still can’t connect to the adapter. It’s my first time using  bcm2 adapter  with Keytool plus. I was able to read the bcm2 with same adapter but with the  vvdi prog . Solution: 1).  Check if the adapter is connected to the board properly. If check all the pin connections and they all good. The adapter is right. Try to update vvdi key tool plus software/firmware to latest version. We had a customer solve this error by updating the software to V1.8.0 and everything works...
