Xhorse Key Tool Plus Program 2025 Toyota Alphard Key with 30-PIN Cable

It’s a 2025 Toyota Alphard Korean version. Added a spare smart key with Xhorse vvdi key tool plus successfully.

Board version: 0070

 

Tools used:

Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus 

Xhorse XM38 Toyota smart key

Xhorse Toyota BA AKL cable

 

Smart box location: Under the instrument panel on the driver’s side.

Need to connect the BA AKL cable to smart box to bypass gateway.

Connection steps:

  1. Connect the BA all-key-lost adapter

  2. Insert the BA wiring harness into the J3 connector

  3. Connect the J2 connector to the OBD socket.

  4. Connect the J1 connector to the key tool plus device.

Step 1: Back up immo data

Menu path: Select from type- Type 4 8A-P4 BA/B8 option

Note: Keep the network connection stable while backing up data. The backup process takes approximately 3–5 minutes.

Step 2: Generate the XM38 remote to a corresponding remote program

Step 3: Add smart key

Will VVDI Key Tool Plus Program VAG MQB49 Key

  How to program VAG MQB49 key with   xhorse vvdi key tool plus ? This is a frequently asked question. Here’s the clue. Only  Johnson Control instrument is supported by  xhorse . Xhorse key tool plus or vvdi2 will only add key to MQB49 (still need sync data), they cannot do MQB49 all keys lost. 1. Calculate immo data online Try to read immo data with key tool plus, if failed to read immo data (shown as error image below).
