Certainly yes. Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad is able to read & save VW Skoda Seat VDO NEC+24C32 while OBDSTAR is not communicating. It happened today when I was trying to read the cluster with a working key. By reading with Login Method 3, Xhorse succeed.
How to read NEC+24C32 via VVDI Key Tool Plus?
Immo programming >> VW >> Select by type >> 4th immo system – Volkswagen >> Skoda >> Seat >> Instrument with NEC+24C32 >> Read EEPROM
Xhorse gives us 3 options: Login Method 1-3:
- Please select the login method, you can choose “Login Method 1” to log in when you are unknown. If the ignition key is inserted or when use the all-key-lost mode, there is the prompt to insert the ignition key, then you can select “Login Method 2” to try, models after 2013 use “Login Method 3”.
- If a login method causes the instrument to black out or the car can not be started, just power off the car battery then power on again.
- Please click start button once for the smart key before login.
If I selected Login Method 2, it’ll be the same failure as OBDSTAR.
But if I selected Login Method 3, Xhorse Key Tool Plus can read it successfully. And even I can save the data as well.
In the same way, I can also read & save IMMO data with Login Method 3 successfully.
Everything has read right out of that cluster.
