Will Xhorse Key Tool Plus Add Used MQB49 5C OEM Key?

Question:

Will I be able to add a smart key to a 2023 VW Tiguan in the USA using Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus? The key is MQB 49 5C. If so, do I need a new key or can I use a used one?

You can use a used one. Not necessary new key.

No need to unlock them (used OEM key), when you make the dealer key it overrides previous data.

For 5C system, you can also use Xhorse XS, XM38 Toyota, XM38 series and XSMQB style keys.
